Upon during the search of Sitting Bull I found out he had 3 different AKAs - different names that he went by, I didn't know that. He was a Shawman for the tribe and didn't like the white man. There was a battle of Little Bighorn between the tribe and the white man. Something else I didn't know was that later on he was killed while resisting arrest...I thought he was killed in a battle.
I did my next search on Helen Keller - I love her information, her and her life! She was an amazing woman! The results that came up for me were a lot of different letters you could read and different photos you could look at. Most of the information is coming from different Universities in the US and also the New York State Archives. I can see people using this site to get their information if they need something quick and something with just a little information. It was an interesting site.
Yes, librarian bri, even though you can't see the actual documents referred to, you can learn a lot from the descriptions. Serious researchers could learn where to go to see these documents. Thanks for your comments and your enthusiasm.
