I used to be scared to use worldcat thought it was difficult but now that is the only one I use to look up items for patrons to see if can borrow it from another library if we don't have it.  I like using it -- it is SO easy to use!! 

I looked up the book What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty --- very good book!! One that I recommend to patrons to read.  When did the search it pulled up 22 results, 976 libraries worldwide and top library was ours AML.  The call # is Fiction Moriarty 

I didn't know she had other books to read -- now that I know can check authors by clicking on their name I can see what else is available.  I will have to order some of her other ones and see if I like them just as much as this one!


When looking at the subject you can click on Australia - that is where the book takes place. Also, memory disorders, amnesiacs and life change events.    This site is very useful, helpful and resourceful in so many different ways. You can search so many ways for an item and get what you want. 

When did the South Dakota search what comes up is a basic over view of what I clicked on.  I clicked on Dreams and Dust in the Black Hills - Shows who the author is, the committee, subject information and department - the history department at the University of New Mexico.  It is kind of interesting to use...personally not sure if will use it myself - but good to have to help patrons look up subject information.
